Hello! I am Mary Claire Tidwell, a home birth Midwife serving women in Southwestern Pennsylvania and the surrounding areas.
I believe that pregnancy and birth is a sacred and natural process which often unfolds as God has wonderfully designed without the need for medical intervention. In short, the miracle of birth is not a medical event and rarely needs to be treated as such.

$5,000 is the total investment for my services. This includes all prenatal and postpartum care, routine lab work, a birth kit, access to a birth tub, and an assistant at the birth. Payment plans are available and can be discussed at your initial appointment.

Routine prenatal visits, routine lab work, birth kit, access to a water birth tub, an assistant at the birth, four in-home postpartum visits, newborn screenings, SSC and birth certificate forms filed, and access to a copy of your records.
